Midnight on the Mississippi
The picture is a reproduction
of a unusual Currier and Ives print. The "Queen of the Mississippi" is sailing down the river and in our example puzzle,
is complete with
Lady Luck on board and a diamond, heart, club and
spade flying high in the sky. Fireworks are going off in the distance and Dixieland music is
keeping an owl and a swan awake (that are hidden in the puzzle).
The cutting style is continuous
heart . Although this example puzzle has straight edges (that might be easy), the corners and many edge pieces
have been disguised to fool you.

Included in the example puzzle are 11 figurals: Lady Luck, a
diamond, heart, spade and club, a swan and owl, two
musical notes, a swirling firecracker, and the Jardin Puzzle signature piece which is signed and dated.
The example puzzle is made from a top custom-grade 1/4 inch cherry plywood. The cherry has a beautiful grain and
color that contrasts with the lighter interior
layers of wood. We have hand finished the wood
the old-fashioned way with Tung Oil and Shellac
which gives the wood a rich luster and
wonderful touch.
The back of the puzzle is as nice to look at as the front.
